Changing what page to show after form is submitted

Applies To: Information Worker for SharePoint 2013/2016/2019 and Cloud

User can set up a redirect after the default form submission confirmation page appears. The redirect can load the root page of the form, or load a website.

In order to setup redirection after form submission, open a template and navigate to Options tabs → Submission Options → Post Submit Redirection URL

5 different redirection options are available for forms that are used in SharePoint site:

  • Do not redirect - after clicking Submit stays in the form;
  • Redirect to source page (page that called form initially) - returns on a page where form creation started;
  • Redirect to SharePoint site home page - redirects to SharePoint site home page;
  • Redirect to document library where form instance was saved;
  • Redirect to new website - redirects to custom defined website. Allows setting time that must past before redirection is called.

For public form submission two redirection options are available:

  • Do not redirect - after clicking Submit stays in the form;
  • Redirect to new website - redirects to custom defined website. Allows setting time that must past before redirection is called.

Change will be applied after template is published.
