Adding a description to PDF form template

Applies To: Information Worker for SharePoint 2013/2016/2019 and Cloud


User can add description to template in order to explain the purpose of the form that is based on the template.

In order to add a description follow these instructions:

Step 1. Open a template → Dashboard tab

Step 2. On the left side of the screen is located a tab that contains template information → click Modify (marked with red)


Step 3. Modify Template Properties window appears

Add description and click Apply Changes. Description will be shown in Dashboard tab


Step 4. Deploy the template. Click Publish button (marked with red) on the right bottom corner

Step 4.1 Publish PDF form window appears

Click Generate link

Step 5. All available forms can be found by navigating to Site Settings in the top right-hand corner → PDF Share Forms IW → My Form Templates → Forms

 Beside the form user can see the description.
